The Strawberry Festival Queen is one of the most important parts of the Troy Strawberry Festival. You cannot have a festival without a queen, just ask England. Tonight one young girls wildest dreams will come true, and she will represent Troy at the Strawberry Festival for 2012.
I remember the queen from the Strawberry Festival in 2001. She was a very nice girl, and I think that her parents were even nicer. It just goes to show you how important a good strong family is. I'm sure that the queen they crown tonight will be just as good, and represent the festival well.
I am not planning on attending tonight, because it would put too much pressure on the girls. Just knowing that the incomparable strawberry pie is "in da house" would cause the girls to get too nervous; they are nervous enough already. I will wait until the Strawberry Festival, when the queen will no doubt come by and sample my deliciousness.
